I'm not sure advocating killing someone on a public forum is a good idea. Because then when he mysteriously comes up missing, we are all going to be suspects, and I just don't have the time or the desire to be part of a police investigation.

Mayby sealed or starter deck tournaments would bring some people. I'll come. I like casual but not if its over alot of sets because its unfair. But if its from like lets open a box and play then its funner.

This is the fist time we haven't had enough people for sanctioning on a Friday night in a long time.

the thing that sucks anymore is either
         a) its constructed and if you dont have a $150 deck you cant compete
b)its limited and 10-20 2-3 times a week adds up

so you cant really do much about

I think a few people are just waiting for Conflux to come out to shake up Standard a little.

I beleave that it is possible to build semi-expensive decks that can compete in standard. Over the next few days, ill create a few of these decks and put them on here. Let me know what you all think of these decks.

I made an all common "rogue" deck and made the finals with it! That deck cost next to nothing.

Further proof that, while helpfull, you dont need super expensive rares to compete in standard. Just scout what the best players routinely play and properly prepare.
