Extended
Can we start a discussion about Extended? I don't know too particularly much about the format and the popular decks, and looking at the decklists can only do so much. What are the more popular decks out there? Are there any decks that are overwhelmingly better than all the others? What should I be prepared to deal with? etc...etc...etc...

I have not followed Extended too closely but if you look at Starcitygames website the two most recent Extended had Faeries winning and finishing in 2nd place so my guess is Faeries with Ancestral Vision and Jitte and Engineered Explosives and Shackles seems like a good deck to me.

Jitte, Engineered Explosives and Shackles... looks like Pithing needle will be good.

Faeries, Elves, and Zoo seem to be the decks to beat. Mono Red Burn, Swans, Death Cloud, Affinity, and TEPS are popular tier 2 decks. A few older decks, such as Tron, Boros, and Rock, make occasional appearances.

Apparently nobody likes to think. I thought it looked fairly decent. I was torn between that and Zoo. Zoo is so easy to play.....
