League play part 2!
I have been reading up on League play a little more and I am going to try to run it with a limited card pool. What this means is the people who show up at 11a.m. on Saturday February 14th will receive 5 grab bags with 15 cards per grab bag and this will allow everybody to have a 75 card pool. You build your 40 card minimum deck as normal and we play 3 rounds and then everyone turns their entire 75 cards into me and I will put them into a box and put your respective name on that box. Then for the next League play on Sat. Feb. 21st you get those same 75 cards plus one additional grab bag to add to your card pool and build a 40 card deck again. This process will continue all through March and we will play a total of 6 weeks of League play and at the end of those 6 weeks the person with the most total points gets $100 cash with the catch of the winner must spend at least $25 of that $100 at The Hobby Horse on cards or products of your choice. Each week will have some booster packs for prizes for 1st,2nd maybe 3rd and 4th if we get enough people. Also at the end of 6 weeks I will give a prize to one random player who does not win the 1st place prize but has played all 6 weeks, this prize may be store credit, packs or cash not sure yet but it will be decent. Also the first tournament with the 5 grab bags will cost $5 entry fee and after that just for prize money it will only be $3 for each additional League tournament. Any thoughts or questions are welcome.

So let me get this straight.....After the second week's tournament, we will each have 90 cards, and then 105 cards the next week, and so on and so forth?

         Easier to understand:
         1st week: 75 cards
         2nd week: 90 cards
         3rd week: 105 cards
         4th week: 120 cards
         5th week: 135 cards
         6th week: 150 cards
         Is that correct?

And what happens to the card pools after the 6th week is over?

Yes that is correct that your card pool grows by 15 cards each week. After the 6th week the cards are yours to keep and if it goes well I may start a whole new League play starting in April.

Is the winner free to spend the remaining $75 on booze, drugs, and prostitutes? That is assuming, of course, that these won't be available at the shop for the first $25.
