The Best Card In Conflux!
I want your opinions on what you think is the best card in Conflux.
My opinion is: Path to Exile.
Path is Swords to Plowshares, with a different drawback. The drawback is minimal, especially late game, and the drawback will probably rarely affect the outcome of a game, especially if played at the correct time. Oona, Chameleon Colossus, any of the new bad creatures(besides progenitus) are all worthless because of this card. If anybody has their heads on straight, they will realize that any deck with white in it should, without a doubt, run this card. If you don't, you are incredibly stupid. I yawn at all of the rest of the cards in this set. This card, in my opinion, will be the most played card in Standard once Conflux hits. B/W Tokens gets a boost. W/R Boat Brew gets a boost, if desired. Really, you can't go wrong with this card! I can see mono-white control decks becoming EXTREMELY popular.

I agree. Path To Exile is the best card in the set.

It also gives Kithkin a serious removal option for only one manna. The little guys could kill of an Oona or a Sower without missing a creature drop. I would be leery about playing Path to Exile early in the game, however. Killing a turn one Figure of Destiny with Swords to Plowshares and giving an opponent one life is a lot better than giving him three lands on his second turn. Later in the game Path to Exile seems as good, if not better, than Swords though.

I agree with what you say, Christian. I also think that this will replace Swords to Plowshares in Vintage. I would rather remove a Darksteel Colossus and you get a basic land than have you gain 11 life.

I agree that Path to Exile will have a major effect on any deck using white (or considering using white); however, I think the best card in the set as it relates to the current format is (suprise, suprise) Banefire. It will simply end more games than any other card in the set.

Of course you don't kill the Figure on the first turn. You wait till they've pumped some mana into it.

Path to Exile is definitely the most powerful enough has been said on the card so I go nothing to say except the you can use it on yourself if you're a domain player etc.

Path to Exile should be great against Zoo decks in Extended. It slows down their powerful one and two drops, and most zoo decks play few, if any, basic lands.
