| Did you know? |         That an equipment that is also a creature cannot equip a creature. And, an enchantment that is also a creature cannot enchant a creature. It's amazing what new stuff you find out when reading the 200 page rule book!

|         Did you know...                 I just found out that if you counter a Demigod of Revenge before the triggered ability goes on the stack, the countered Demigod in your graveyard will come back to play.                 I guess some people in tournament play will ask if the person is countering before or after the triggered ability to see if a newb will counter it incorrectly and give them their creature right back!

|         Thanks, Zack.         I did for a fact know that, Josh. It's crazy how abilities and the playing of spells works.

|         Wow, I need to play more. It took me a couple seconds for me to realize the way to counter it but I'm still a little shakey on it. So there is no way to prevent the ability from triggering correct. Yes/No

|         I believe Stifle, Voidslime, or Trickbind will prevent the Demigod from returning from the graveyard to play.

|         Josh, I have first hand experience with that. Some douche on MWS pulled that crap on me. So I killed them both.

|         how does the ability go off if the spell is countered?         I mean, the Demigod has to actually resolve doesn't it?

|         Demigod is played, and the ability goes on the stack above it.         If they counter without saying the ability resolves, the ability brings them both back.

|         The Demigod does not have to resolve in order for the ability to go on the stack. The stack would look like this:         Demigod of Revenge         Demigod's ability                 If an opponent responds with a counterspell on the demigod, the demigod would be put into the graveyard before the ability would resolve.

|         The stack would look like:         1. Demigod's triggered ability         2. Demigod of Revenge                 You wait for the triggered ability to resolve before countering the Demigod. |
