| Double Cast |         How nuts can this get if you have a bunch of Double Cast spells in your deck? Also, I would like to know if you can actually play non-instant spells with Double Cast.

|         I would assume you could. Mind's Desire says: "... remove the top card of your library from the game. Until end of turn, you may play that card without paying its mana cost."

|         I posted the answer in the spoilers, but yes you can cast non-instants with double cast. |

|         In the case of Mind's Desire, you still have to follow the rules when casting the spells. You can put an instant on the stack, but you can't put a sorcery, creature, enchantment, or artifact on the stack if that instant is on the stack.

|         I still don't fully understand why even Windbrisk Heights would allow you to play a non-instant when you can play instants.

|         I finally realized that it's part of the ability of the windbrisk heights and it supercedes all rules. I guess the same is true for Double Cast. I hate rules modifying abilities.
