Cascade puts up results.
On magic-league, the hypergenesis deck got 2nd and 3rd of a 100-some man trial. Fuck you, ben.

I'll admit that I bad-mouthed the deck on the other post, but that decklist that was posted sucked major bum. Like, major bum. Those lists are cool, although, I didn't see any other decks on there that would give those a challenge. Chalice for 0. Thats all you need to do to win game 1. What I really want to say is that it is incredibly easy to hate out that deck. It will get it's time in the sun until people start realizing that hey, I have to run something to stop this. Plus, the fact that Chalice is good in pretty much every combo matchup is a plus. I just simply refuse to lose to a deck that is so ignorantly easy to play. I'm not worried about it, because any deck that I build will be able to beat that deck easily. It is just so so so so so so incredibly easy to beat it. Did you really expect Naya Zoo, the most popular deck in Extended right now, to have a chance? I don't think so. I'd also like to point out that Magic-League is not to be taken seriously, because if you look at the match records for all of the decks, only the first 4 or 5 had more than 2 matches. The 2nd place deck faced Mono-Red Burn: Auto Win, Naya Zoo: Auto Win, had a Bye, played the 3rd place Hypergenesis, and lost to Elf Combo. Thats not the format. Faeries is the format and they didn't play them once. The other Hypergenesis deck played a crappy rock deck, a retarded U/W/B build, an unlisted deck(suck), the other Hypergenesis deck. And uh, Zack, 28 does not equal 100-some. Sorry. Deck still sucks, IMO.

If you're smart, you would main deck four.

Maindeck Ingot Chewer is a way around Chalice of the Void. If Chalice becomes a popular maindeck choice you could probably inlude 4 Ingot Chewer in the maindeck pretty easily.
I agree that Magic-league is not a very reliable source. The single elimination format makes the results pretty random.
