| | Congrats to Zack! | Congratulation to Zack for winning the all-rare draft even though he wanted to just give the win to Mike D. and take the second place price of a full box and run. Oh and the Glarecaster rules are addressed on Wizards as follows: Q: My friend has a Glarecaster in play and I attack. He spends 6 mana to activate Glarecaster. He does not assign blockers and says that all the damage that was dealt to him is redirected. I think that the damage is only from one source because it says, "The next time damage would be dealt." Is he right, or am I?
A: He is right. Glarecaster looks at the next "time" damage is dealt, and since all regular combat damage is dealt at the same time, it's all redirected to the new target. First strike damage is dealt before regular damage, though, so if some of the attacking creatures have first strike, only that damage will be redirected.
So we got it right and it is a pretty nice card to draft apparently, even if you have to leave 6 mana open for it's ability.

| Yes my apologies to Brandon and Jeremy Banks because we had a Brandon and a Jeremy playing but I was scrambling to make packs and to get the tournament started so I didn't ask their last names I just figured it wouldn't affect anything as far as points for the website or for DCI rating as all-rare drafts are NOT sanctioned events(never have been) so nobody should have been affected by it, and no animals were harmed during the running of the all-rare draft:)

| Also I have to apologize to Paul and to Kara as I did not have enough packs made for the 36 people who wanted to play, I underestimated what I thought was a decent prize (Mox Emerald) but not a spectacular prize but I promise in the future I will be more prepared. On the plus side almost everyone that played seemed pleased with the packs and I thought the decks were fairly well balanced, even blue was playable as Zack and several others proved in this all-rare draft.

| I felt that i should say something here. You see, zack has allways had a lack of confidence in playing magic. He didnt even want to play the final round with me, he was willing to scoop and just give me the mox. I am very glad that he didnt and that he played it out. I am much happier with the packs that i earned than the mox that i didnt. ( 2 thought hemorage, 2 dauntless escort, 1 m.mage, 1maelstrom pulse, foil bloodbraid elf!). As far as zack, i am pleased to congratulate you on your preformance. You have proved what i have been saying all along = that you are one of the best and brightest of the horse and that you dont need anyones help, you are good enough to do it all on your own. | Thanks mike. But you would have still easily beat me had you drawn the removal you needed. I lost to Sweeny and drew with Ben. Sweeney had too much removal for me to deal with. Nevinral's disk, violent ultimatum, and lavalanche beat me. Along with troll astectic.
