| | Reject Rare Draft 12-26-09 | I am going to have the reject rare draft at The Horse on December 26th which is Saturday with a start time of 11a.m. It is $12 entry fee and you will just get 3 packs of "reject" rares. There will be no 5/5/5 pack and no super-pack in this one. This means you will just get a draft pool of 45 rares and by "reject" rares I simply mean rares that I would sell for less than $5. I will be VERY careful not to put in a Ensnaring Bridge in this format as finding artifact/enchantment removal will be difficult. There will still be playable rares as I said they are just rares that I currently sell for less than $5 so cards like Troll Ascetic, Pain Lands, Tombstalker, Duplicant, Glarecaster,etc. all qualify for this draft. The grand prize will be a Unlimited Mox Ruby and second place a booster box if we can get at least 20 people. Spread the word as I am kind of worried about getting enough people the day after Christmas but I will try to make sure top 8 gets Playmats,foils,etc. and I may give some random prizes like packs and playmats to people who do not make the finals so if you have $12 and are free that day stop by it should be a fun time!

| Christian, I know you and Mike Dale and a couple other people have won All-Rare drafts without Glarecaster. So I guess it's possible. For some reason, bad players need Glarecaster. I don't know why that is.

| I won one with Crovax, Ascendant Hero and more significantly Oblation. Of course i did have a glarecaster, but for some reason everytime my opponent read it, they opted to kill it. Weird.

| Glarecaster isnt a good card at all. What beat me were zacks other good cards, like cryptic command, razormane masticore, windreaver, and meloku, just to name a few. As far as glarecOster, I wouldnt want to play vs. it, I hear that it is very good! Wasnt it banned for a while? I hear its the only card that you cant play in vintage!
