In testing, I have found that I hate planeswalkers a lot. Vampire Hexmage must be in the 75 somewhere, and with the rise of Jace, the Mirage Sculptor, Duress could probably be in the board as well. Earthquake should be played as well. My board would look something like this:
         4 Earthquake
         4 Duress
         3 Scepter of Fugue
         4 Vampire Hexmage

Nice article, Ben. I have a few questions, however. You didnt mention 3 color control in either form, grixis or all-american. Does this mean that you dont belive these 2 decks are good anymore? Because, trust me, THEY ARE STILL GOOD! Just a thought, but I like the red-black trader deck that you talked about. Seems fun! Just wanted to drop by and say hi, and to compliment you on a decent article. Well done!

P.S. Good luck convincing the majority of your audience that losing is their fault! Might as well try to move mountians.

Thanks! And let me tell you, the article on why it's everyone's fault when they lose is coming! I just totally forgot to mention those 2 control decks. They are still very viable, and are also the decks that you will see Jace abused the most in.
