Super-pack first??
I will put this one up as a poll question but what are your guys' thoughts on opening the super-pack first for the all-rare draft?

         I would prefer last.

Unless of course both the people to your left and right are both drafting heavy white.

The super pack is supposed to enhance your deck with one awesome card, not tell you what colors you'll be in. Building your deck based on one card can screw you.

Yep, and trying to force yourself to go a certain color can be detrimental in a draft for sure. The super-pack will be last as usual I was just curious if a lot of people really thought it should be the first pack opened.

You could also do it after the second pack has been drafted but before the third. It's late enough that you might be picking up some enhancement, but perhaps early enough that you would splash to add something from the super pack. I know it really sucks when you are one of the last 3 to get the super pack and then the only thing left is something a) not in your colors or b) some expensive dual land that is not in your colors. Just a thought.

Interesting idea Josh, I just think that may interrupt the flow of the draft process when you only get one card out of that pack and then you go back to look at a 15 card pack. I do understand the last 2 or 3 picks of the super-pack are not the best options but I figure at least you still get a decent "money" card from that pick and I really can't afford to make the super packs 15 cards each or make sure that everyone gets two cards from a super pack, that is just too much expense on my part.

I don't know about first, but after the second would be interesting.

Unless everyone is volunteering to pay an extra $10 to $15 for the entry fee. Any volunteers?
