| Limited Sealed Deck Question |         Given that,                  "40 Card Deck (min)         All other cards received are Side Board                  Players receive either 5 booster packs or a tournament pack and 2 booster packs. Decks are built out of these packs."                           As I am new to this tourney format, are the two choices for one's draft equal in quality? Is taking a prebuilt tourney pack and two packs better than taking 5 boosters? Is one choice better than the other, or is it pure chance? Granted I know 5 boosters = 5 rare and perhaps a mythic rare. I am honestly thinking it might be better to take the tourney pack and the two boosters. (2 rare plus whatever set rares are in the deck.) Of course rare does not always = win. Just kicking around my options before Saturday. Opinions?

|         I think the 5 boosters or 2 boosters and one tourny pack are from quite some time ago as they don't even make tourny packs anymore(they had 45 random cards and 15 basic land so they were just like getting 3 packs anyway). The official rules in most places including the Horse are as follows:         Entry fee: $30                 Format: Limited - Sealed Deck         Players will construct a sealed deck using 6 packs of Rise of the Eldrazi!! (included in the entrance fee)                 Format Description: Main decks must contain a minimum of forty cards. There is no maximum deck size. All cards a player received but is not using in his or her main deck become that player's sideboard.                 Players are not restricted to four of any one card in Limited tournament play.                 Any drafted or opened cards not used in a player's Limited deck function as his or her sideboard. The sideboard may not be kept where it could be confused or switched with other cards.

|         Also you can read a bit more about Prerelease info on Wizards website try this link for example:http://www.wizards.com/MagiC/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/feature/46         One more thing to remember in Prerelease's is that you can change your deck entirely between rounds if you want to, this is from that article:When you build your deck, you will have a small pile of boosters to work with. From these you will craft your deck for each round that you play. If you don't get the right build the first time, don't worry—at Prereleases, you can change your Sealed Deck between rounds as you see fit.
