| U/W Venser aggro deck. Thoughts? |         Does anyone have these cards IRL or on modo and would you like to test this for me? Just an idea I've been bouncing around. Maybe for KC.                 4 Elite Vanguard         4 Kor Skyfisher         4 Leonin Arbiter         2 Stoneforge Mystic         4 Kor Hookmaster         4 Aether Adept         1 Molten-tail Masticore                 1 Sword of Body and Mind         1 Basilisk Collar         3 Venser         4 Mana Leak         4 Journey to Nowhere                 4 Celestial Collonnade         4 Glacial Fortress         4 Seachrome Coast         3 Tectonic Edge         7 Plains         2 Island                 SB:         3 Purge (vamps)         3 White Knight (vamps and U/B)         2 Kor Firewalker (ya know)         3 Kor Sanctifiers (if pyromancer is still around, or for random dark tutelage, equipment, etc.)         4 Leyline of Sanctity (anything other than Valakut? Maybe U/B)                 Pretty self-explanatory I think: play little tempo guys and kill fast. Have mana leak backup. Use Venser to both blink tempo effects and unblockable alpha strike. It seems like (rather than control) this is the sort of deck that could use Venser the best. I realize that there's a bit of a "non-bo" with Arbiter + Stonforge, but they both seem too good in the deck not to play. Just play it smart. Masticore is to provide some reach. Graveyard should be full of guys if anything.                 The board is pretty unknown (I guess the whole deck is). Maybe there should be Spell Pierce for wrath, jace, ramp, etc? Maybe it should even be pierce in the main instead of leak. Also I still wonder if Mimic Vat should be in here. On the one hand it would play mostly the same role as Venser, but on the other this seems kinda like the perfect deck for it.                 Anyway, I don't have the cards, but I would love if a competent player or two would try this out and let me know how it goes. |

|         I like the deck, but a few things pop out at me;                 1. I would prob cut the vanguard for 4 MB spreading seas. Its good tempo that cantrips and can leave you opponent stumbling.                 2. Needs some spell pierces in the board                 3. 1 or 2 Elspeth is a possibility, as it + venser = 3 tokens a turn.                 If I have some extra time ill test this list on MWS. Welcome to the site :)

|         Another card that you might want to try out in this deck is squadron hawk. The arbiter is great vs some decks, and horrible vs others, while squad hawk is a good dude vs many decks. Also, leyline is good vs valulut and some black decks, but you probably dont need it. If you follow zacks suggestion and put spreading seas main, you should improve your match vs valukut to the point where you dont need the leyline. Either way, good luck testing your deck.

|         I definitely like the Squadron Hawk idea. |
