| | SCG Open in Kansas City | Most of you guys don't know me, but some may. I am from Quincy IL and travel to Springfield fairly regularly to play at Capital City for FNM. Peel, Hinkle, and Tony know me pretty well. Anyways, I was looking to see if there was anyone from this area who was looking to Kansas City for the SCG open on the weekend of January 7th through the 9th. I and one of my friends from Quincy will be going for sure, but I would like to get a larger group of people from the area together in order to make travel expenses cheaper and also to playtest a little more the night before, etc. If anyone is interested you can find me on Facebook (Joshua Snider) or shoot me an e-mail jdsnider57@gmail.com. Or just post here and Ill check back frequently before the event to see if anyone is interested. Thanks and hopefully we can work something out to get a large Central Illinois showing at this event.

| Actually I've got at least 4 people going now, doves probably won't be able to ride up with you guys, but we should meet up Friday night to get some additional playtesting in if you guys are up for it. By the way, what's everyone playing? I'm running UB control and Brett is running UW. I think that Wilson is going to run UG wave.

| and as far as legacy goes ill be running ub merfolk and Brett has UW landstill. We have dredge and zoo put together as well if anyone needs a deck.

| I will probably play my B/G homebrew deck for Standard. I won 5 of 6 against U/B handily, but struggled against Valakut. I'll post the deck in a new thread. |
