|         Did you see that part that says Instant?

|         ...and with fetchlands you can still draw 3 cards at the end of your opponents turn. A solid draw card for blue!

|         but 5 mana for 3 cards? is it really worth it? i like the instant part, but i just can't imagine spending 5 mana for 3 cards.

|         very true. now that i think about it it's not so horrible. i like the fact that using fetches on your opponent's turn is actually something meaningful.

|         and this is a strict upgrade over mind spring.

|         Keep in mind that the only other real instant draw spell in Standard right now is Esper Charm. Considering you have to run three colors to use that, having a mono blue method of instant card advantage is pretty sweet. It's also the same cost as Mulldrifter but I'm not sure you can make any meaningful comparison between those two cards.

|         if it cost one less mana and was an uncommon or rare, i would be completely in love with this. That being said, it will probably only ever be a 1 or 2 of in most decks because of mana needs.

|         and the fifth turn in this current format is a very important turn. you don't want to waste time casting this spell when you should be playing sphinx of lost truths instead.

|         true dat. But if this is our common card draw, maybe there will be a better uncommon or rare draw spell in the set.

|         this card seems pefect for control. Sit back with your hand of counters and when they don't play anything, or nothing threatening, I'll draw three cards. Of course if control is too slow in standard, that may be an issue.

|         I like Tidings and Mind Spring better. The instant part is nice though.
